Wanted to say happy birthday to (Mandel) Mandy Patinkin, star of stage and screen and renowned tenor. Many movie goers remember him as Íñigo Montoya from the film "The Princess Bride." (One of our favorites here at home.) He won an Emmy for his role in Chicago Hope on TV and a Tony Award for his stage role in "Evita." He presently plays Jason Gideon on Criminal Minds (another of my favorite "cop shows").

I like Criminal Minds, too - though I have to say that in Chicago Hope he used to annoy me.
I've never really seen him n anything except Chicago Hope,which was a favourite before CI came along!
